Masks

All the masks you wanted to wear- wear them, let them slip away

Like flying blankets twirling your soul

Squeezing you in, letting you go

Like tinted butter paper floating across apace

So many colors, so many shades

Amusing, disgusting, amazing tastes

You know it will slow down, sometimes will you strip down

Will you strip down to a soul that is naked?

You know there's no point pushing away

To be free, you ought to play the game

All the masks you wanted to wear- wear them, let them slip away
